This antique “TAHAIKTE” is made from very thin wool with very fine colored broidery on the edges.
The white stripes are cotton, these Tahaikte was used for occasions like weddings and other important events.
It was passed on from mother to daughter, the thin colored broidery garn was made by Jewish-Berbers.
The richer the motifs, the richer the people.
